About Hannah Kim

Personal Bio

Welcome! My name is Hannah Kim and I am a senior at Frisco High School. Currently, I am pursuing a certification in pharmacy technician through a dual credit program, and I am planning on pursuing higher education in university. When I was a junior, had the honor of being accepted into the 2020-2021 Frisco High School ISM program, and I studied Otolaryngology (ENT).
I love to volunteer and be involved both inside and outside of the community. I have become interested in the medical field hoping to make an impact on all people and the world. Through UNICEF FHS, a club chapter I helped found at Frisco High School, I have gained so much knowledge on children and human rights. It is my goal to help children to receive the healthcare they deserve in the future. Outside of ISM and UNICEF, I am involved in several other organizations. I am currently the Treasurer of Health Science Students of America (HOSA), the President of UNICEF FHS, President of Spanish Club, and a Student Liaison (PTSA Student Ambassador) for Frisco High School. I am also a proud member of the Frisco High School marching band, Mu Alpha Theta (Math Club), the National Honor Society, and the Spanish National Honor Society.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Mission Statement

Through my time in ISM, I aspire to have a better understanding of the medical specialty, otolaryngology. My goal is to develop my knowledge by keeping a consistent drive of determination and an increasing yearning for growth. I will challenge myself to think creatively and outside of my comfort zone in order to surpass any goals this year. During ISM, I will also learn how to conduct myself professionally and reinforce that knowledge into my daily life. Under a mentor, I will learn and research in order to create a quality product that demonstrates my perseverance, hard work, and dedication.
