I Survived - 12/11/20

The original work project is one of the largest works I have ever had to complete. During this 10 week period, I have been the most bewildered, nervous, and excited that I have ever been at the same time. It is currently 11:59pm, and I had finished fixing up my original work and turned it in about 30 minutes ago. I sat for the past 30 minutes just kind of thinking and reflecting. I remember coming into ISM and being told about this project, I remember being so confused on how to even start researching, and I remember being afraid of speaking about one topic for so long. Now that I think about it, the first semester is over. Like I have said numerous times, my original work was a brochure and research paper. The brochure, in my opinion, kept a professional look while being informative. I did end up procrastinating on the research paper a little bit, but I did have the draft done early so it was not too bad. All in all, I am pretty proud of myself for getting through this process for the first time.

Now that I have been through this experience, I am so excited to get into my final product. I have some ideas because of my original work, but I have not really decided yet. I have learned many lessons to take into the final product, such as pre-planning the details of the product earlier. Up until this moment, I have never truly written a research paper. In school before this year, most of my papers were just summaries. I definitely have more to grow because my papers could be a whole lot stronger, but as of right now, I feel very accomplished and cannot wait to continue.
