I have officially finally figured out what exactly I want to do with my original work. I know that I have already written the proposal and that my topic is set on allergies. I also know that I want to create a brochure and research paper; however, I did not really know how I wanted to format it or if it was enough. In the end, I decided to go with what I originally planned but format it to where there were 4 flaps of information - the left inner flap on comparing indoor and outdoor allergies and when they are each prominent, the middle inner flap on what applications there are for different severities of allergies, the right inner flap as the medications I recommend for different ages, and on the flap that folds in, an explanation of how allergies work and why they affect people. I want that information to be on the flap that folds in because that will be the first thing people see when they open up the brochure. This will ultimately lead to my final product where I hope to be able to compare and research about how each medication affects the body, at what location it binds, and what proteins it attaches to to soften or decrease the allergy symptoms. I will see where this idea takes me and if I believe it will need revisions in the future. As of right now, my main focus is to get professional eyes on the research I have done so far in order to make sure I am on the right track.
